Because of the non-symmetrical nature of the DOCSIS cable modem RF specification, the acceptable uses for the cable modem service are primarily for web browsing and file downloads.
Non-acceptable uses include:
- Hosting server services such as web server, e-mail servers, ftp servers, game servers, etc. (Business 2 and above may host servers). End users may not run programs or servers that provide network services to others while using the Click! Network ISP advantage service unless specifically authorized as part of your Service Plan.
- Reselling of Internet access.
- End users cannot provide Internet access to others through dial-up connections, host shell accounts over the internet, or provide e-mail services, news services or news feeds.
- Sending unsolicited bulk or commercial messages (intentional or unintentional).
- Resale of cable modem Internet service.
- End users must not restrict or inhibit any other end user's normal use of the services. End users may not resell, share or otherwise distribute services or any portion of them to any third party.
- Connecting unencrypted wireless routers. All wireless routers must be encrypted using WEP or better.

Customers must provide Click! Network access to their location upon request to correct any network problem that may be impacting the Click! Network. Failure to allow access to resolve the problem may result in immediate disconnection of service without notice.

Due to the shared topology of cable modem service neither Net-Venture nor Click! Network guarantee uptime or bandwidth speeds or throughput on cable modem services. Download and upload rates may vary based on many factors. No refunds will be given for downtime or system outages.

Net-Venture and Click! Network has taken steps to minimize outside access to workstations attached to the Internet by cable modem. However, end users are warned that hackers and vandals could launch attacks against their workstations. End users are responsible for the security of their workstations and virus protection.

Net-Venture and Click! Network do not monitor or filter any internet sites, nor do we provide any kind of adult or content screening. If content screening is desired, it is the responsibility of the end user to acquire such screening.

Use of any of Net-Venture services constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Violation of the Terms and Conditions may result in immediate termination of service without notice.
