Local Number Portability (LNP) allows you to transfer your telephone number from your current telephone service provider to Net-Venture, Inc.
Your current provider requires a Letter of Authorization as proof that you have explicitly requested and authorized to have your telephone number transferred to another provider. By submitting this form, you authorize Net-Venture, Inc. to initiate the process of transferring your telephone number to Net-Venture, Inc. After the transfer is complete, your transferred telephone number will ring your Net-Venture, Inc. primary phone line.
The process of transferring your number can take up to 45 business days to complete, but will usually take a MINIMUM of 30 business days. Once this form has been faxed to Net-Venture, Inc., the number porting process CANNOT BE STOPPED.
During this time we may or may not be able to obtain updates from your current provider regarding the status of the transfer. Please note that you MUST maintain active paying service with both your current provider and with Net-Venture, Inc. While the transfer is being scheduled, your current telephone service and your Net-Venture, Inc. service will not be interrupted. Once the change has taken place, calls to your current telephone number will ring to your primary Net-Venture, Inc. line.
Cancelling your Net-Venture, Inc. service after submitting this form and before your number port has completed WILL result in losing your phone number.
DO NOT submit any service change orders on your current phone number to your current provider. Doing so will delay or cancel this transfer.
