At Net-Venture, we strive to provide a safe and reliable means of communication in times of emergency. Net-Venture's 911 Dialing service operates differently than traditional 911, and because your safety is important to us, when you signed up for service Net-Venture submitted to the appropriate agency your street address and associated phone number.

If you move your device to another location, you must register your new location - it's easy - just click here and follow the instructions. If you do not register your new location, any 911 call you make may be sent to an emergency center near your old location. Once we receive your information it may take up to 24 hours to for your new location become effective. You will receive a confirmation email when your 911 Dialing request has been submitted.

Most of our customers will have access to Enhanced 911 (E911) service. With E911 service, when you dial 911, your telephone number and registered address is simultaneously sent to the local emergency center assigned to your location, and emergency operators have access to the information they need to send help and call you back if necessary.

Customers in locations where the emergency center is not equipped to receive your telephone number and address have basic 911. With basic 911, the local emergency operator answering the call will not have your call back number or your exact location, so you must be prepared to give them this information. Until you give the operator your phone number, he/she may not be able to call you back or dispatch help if the call is not completed or is not forwarded, is dropped or disconnected, or if you are unable to speak. As additional local emergency centers become capable of receiving our customers' information, Net-Venture will automatically upgrade customers with basic 911 to E911 service. Net-Venture will not give you notice of the upgrade.

Net-Venture strives to maintain accurate location records for 911 but it is sole responsibility of the customer to ensure Net-Venture has accurate & timely 911 location information. Net-Venture utilizes a third party 911 provider. The customer releases Net-Venture from all liability associated with the functioning of E911/ 911 services.

Remember that our 911 Dialing service will not function in the event of:
- A broadband or power outage
- Your broadband, ISP or Net-Venture Digital Phone Service is terminated
- Your Service has been blocked
Net-Venture reserves the right to block Service if your account is not current, for breach of Net-Venture's Cable Modem Acceptable Use Policy (if applicable) or for breach of Net-Venture's Terms and Conditions.
