Instrument Panel Detail
  • Left Side Controls:
  • COMM activates speed controller motor.
  • PWR enables main drive motor power.
  • AUX activates on-board systems and instrument circuits.
  • COOLING activates main drive motor cooling blower.
  • Panel Instruments:
  • Tachometer (round dial) indicates drive motor rpm.
  • Ammeter (center) indicates drive motor current. Red mark is 500 Ampere limit.
  • Right Side Indicator:
  • TEMP indicates drive motor exceeded temperature limit.
  • Right Side Controls:
  • EMERG CLEAR switch at top right shuts down drive motor power by blowing main power fuse. Used in emergency, and at the end of each speed run.
  • MOTOR POWER switches:
    Eight switches incrementally increase voltage to drive motor by adding cell groups to power circuit.
