| This is the second of two RF&CM RR Maintenance of Way water cars which provide potable water for use by track crews at work sites along the right-of-way. This is a lower profile version of the first car. The model features oak staves secured with aliphatic resin glue applied over a paper form. Wire banding is used to support the staves on this water tank. A ladder is used to reach the top mounted fill port and a discharge valve and hose are included. |
