| This crane is used for moving heavy items close to the right of way in the maintenance of trackage. Support legs on each corner are extended to the roadbed to stabilize the crane platform. This is required when heavy lifting is performed on either side of the track and the crane is rotated away from track centerline. A hand-cranked gear-driven winch drum provides the lifting power. |
