Radio-Controlled Scale Tugboats

Patsy Rose
This R/C model tugboat is based on several real tugs operating in the Seattle area. It represents a typical ocean-going 96' tow boat. The model is 1:24 scale and is 48" long.
Static features include:
  • A bow pudding (bumper) woven from scale line.
  • An anchor davit and blocks on the foredeck, a lifeboat with a seagull resting on the weather cover, and many opening hatches.
The operating features of the Patsy Rose include 6 Volt electric drive, a realistic diesel sound and smoke system, rotating radar antenna, and:
  • An after worklight
The signal and navigation lights can be turned on and off while underway.
When I forget to charge the tugboat batteries,
