Dial-Up Setup in Windows XP
|

Follow the tutorial below to set up your dialer.

1. Click on the Start button and then click on Control Panel. (If you use Classic Start menu the Control Panel is under Settings).
|
|
|
2. Open Internet Options. If you don't see Internet Options open Network and Internet Connections then open Internet Options.
|
|
|
3. Click on the Connection tab and then click on the Set-Up button.
|
|
|
4. The Internet Connection wizard will open, then click Next.
|
|
|
5. Click Connect to Internet, then click Next.
|
|
|
6. Click Set-Up Connection Manually, then click Next.
|
|
|
7. Click Connect Using a Dial-Up Modem, then click Next.
|
|
|
8. This step will give the connection you are dialing a name, type Net-Venture, then click Next.
|
|
|
9. Type the telephone number your computer will dial, then click Next.
|
|
|
10. Type your Username and Password. Make sure that all 3 check boxes are checked, then click Next.
|
|
11. If you want to add a shortcut to this connection, check that box and click Finish. Then go test your new dial-up connection.
