You get certificate errors after changing your email settings to enable SSL
|
|
This document applies to all email client programs such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, Entourage and others.
|
|
|
This happens when the incoming and/or outgoing mail server names are not set correctly.
A few sample error messsages are shown below.

Error message shown above is from Outlook 2007.
|
|
|
Error message shown above is from Windows Mail.
|
|
|
Error message shown above is from Macintosh Mail.
|
These are just samples, your message may vary depending on the email application and version you use.
In all cases this error is caused by using a server name that is not covered by our security certificate and can be corrected
by changing the server names.
The correct server names to use are:
- Incoming Mail: mail.nventure.com
- Outgoing Mail: smtp.nventure.com
